I just got my ticket to the Shirota Yuu Fan meeting in Tokyo on Dec.24.
I was wondering if anyone know what to do in these kind of meetings...?

This is my first Shirota event, so I am not exactly sure what to do

Hi everyone!

I've been working on my first proper corset on and off for a few weeks now. I've drafted an underbust pattern, and have made two toiles, adjusting as I go. So far, I'm REALLY pleased with the fit when I hand-cinch it (I haven't received the eyelet plate for my machine yet, so no eyelets or laces at the moment). I think one more toile should allow me to get the perfect fit before I start the final product. Tonight, I wanted to practice attaching the busk to #2 so I don't run into issues later on, but I can't figure out how that would work without having an extra layer at the center front. Is it assumed that "single-layer" corsets actually have two layers for the front panels to sandwich the busk between?
